Do I need an account?

Not for the estimate: answer the six questions and your total study hours appear on this page as you go. A free Quizara account, with no card required, opens the rest of the plan here: your priority topics, whether the plan fits your exam window, hours for all 10 topics, the week-by-week plan, mock milestones and the calendar file. Your answers stay saved in this browser while you sign up in a new tab.

Where does the 300-hour reference come from?

CFA Institute reports that successful candidates spend over 300 hours on average preparing for each level. Quizara starts from 300 hours, uses the 2027 topic weights and your answers to suggest an allowance, then separates learning, practice and revision. These heuristics are Quizara's planning suggestions, not a readiness score or a pass prediction.

What if I can study fewer than 10 hours a week?

Choose the hours you can sustain. The planner checks all four 2027 windows, reserves a final review block and tells you when the pace is too slow. A later window or an earlier start may help. It does not deduct holidays, and you should leave additional room for interruptions and the Practical Skills Module.

Should I do a mock before studying?

If you are retaking, an early diagnostic mock can help check your weak topics; your plan includes it in the first week. If this is your first attempt, build your foundations before doing full mocks. Your two later mocks are at least a week apart; if your final review is short, the first falls near the end of topic practice. The mock hours include testing, a break and an initial review; reviewing your errors matters too.
